ShareDream App Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026 · This is a plain-language summary. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

  • Account — your email, display name and (optional) avatar emoji or photo.

  • Content you create — your dreams, milestones, swipes, chat messages and AI-coach conversations.

  • Authentication metadata — sign-in timestamps, managed by Supabase Auth.

  • We do not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics cookies or fingerprinting.

Where it lives

Your data is stored on Supabase servers in the European Union (Ireland, eu-west-1). When you upload a profile photo, the image is resized client-side and its EXIF metadata (location, camera model, timestamps) is stripped before upload.

AI coach (DreamBot)

Messages you send to DreamBot are forwarded to Anthropic's API to generate a reply. Anthropic processes the prompt to produce a response and does not use it for model training (per their commercial terms). The conversation history is stored in your account so the coach has context.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access & portability — download a JSON export of all your data from Profile → Privacy & data.

  • Rectification — edit your profile, dreams and milestones at any time.

  • Erasure — delete your photo, individual dreams, or your entire account.

  • Object — stop using the AI coach or any other feature; you can disable your account.

  • Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

Visibility & sharing

Dreams marked public are visible to other signed-in users in Discover. Private dreams are visible only to you and any collaborator you've accepted. Chat messages are visible only to participants. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.

Reports & safety

Reports submitted from chat are visible only to ShareDream operators. We may review reported messages to enforce our community rules. Blocked users cannot send you messages or appear in your Discover feed.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your dreams, milestones, messages and uploaded photos are removed from our database within 30 days. Backups are rotated within 90 days.

ShareDream: Child Safety Standards & Prevention of Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE) Policy

1. Introduction & Core Commitment

ShareDream is an adult-focused (+18) platform designed for mature audiences. Despite our age restrictions, ShareDream has a zero-tolerance policy for child endangerment, exploitation, and abuse.

We are fully committed to providing a safe digital ecosystem. This policy aligns with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards, the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and global child protection frameworks. We actively prevent, detect, and eliminate any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) on our platform.

2. Strict Prohibition of CSAE and CSAM

ShareDream strictly prohibits users from creating, uploading, sharing, storing, or transmitting any content or engaging in behavior that exploits, abuses, or endangers minors.

​

Prohibited activities and content include, but are not limited to:

​

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual depiction (photographs, videos, digital drawings, or AI-generated imagery) of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

  • Child Grooming: Attempting to establish an online connection with a minor to facilitate sexual contact, exchange sexual imagery, or exploit them.

  • Sextortion & Coercion: Extorting, blackmailing, or coercing a minor using real or fabricated intimate imagery.

  • Child Trafficking: Using the platform to facilitate the illegal transfer, harboring, or exploitation of minors.

  • Sexualization of Minors: Portraying minors in a sexually suggestive manner or sharing content that encourages the sexual abuse of children.

3. Mandatory In-App Reporting Mechanism

To ensure our community remains safe, ShareDream provides a direct, highly accessible In-App Reporting Tool.

  • How to Report: Users can flag any profile, message, or content piece directly inside the ShareDream app by tapping the "Report" button.

  • No Exit Required: In compliance with Google Play standards, the reporting interface is fully native and does not require the user to exit the application.

  • Anonymity & Security: All reports are treated with strict confidentiality and are reviewed manually by our team within hours.

4. Detection, Moderation, and Action (CSAM Response)

ShareDream utilizes human review to enforce this policy. Upon obtaining actual knowledge of potential CSAE or CSAM:

  1. Immediate Removal: The offending content is immediately and permanently removed from our servers.

  2. Account Termination: The offending user’s account is permanently banned, and we block associated device identifiers and payment methods.

  3. Data Preservation: We preserve all metadata, IP addresses, and digital footprints associated with the violation for law enforcement investigations, in accordance with applicable EU privacy exemptions.

5. Law Enforcement Cooperation & Regional Reporting

In compliance with global and European legal standards, ShareDream maintains dedicated reporting workflows to external authorities:

  • Global Reporting: Confirmed cases of CSAM are reported immediately to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

  • EU Compliance & DSA: Under the EU Digital Services Act, ShareDream coordinates swiftly with EU National Competent Authorities and Digital Services Coordinators (DSCs). If we suspect a threat to the life or safety of a minor, we immediately alert local EU law enforcement agencies.

6. Target Audience, Age-Gating, and Data Privacy

  • Strict Age-Gating: ShareDream is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 and older. 

  • GDPR Compliance: In accordance with the EU GDPR, we do not intentionally collect, process, or store personal data from minors. If we discover that a minor has created an account, the data is immediately purged.

7. Child Safety Point of Contact

ShareDream has appointed a designated representative to manage CSAE/CSAM enforcement, review moderation procedures, and communicate with Google Play and regulatory bodies.
